Happy Bike to School and/or Work Day. I say and/or work, because some of us biked to school because we work there. Others just biked to school. And some to work. But those of us who work AT school, we get to say that we biked to school and work. Are you pickin' up what I'm throwin' down?
In honor of aforementioned Bike to School and/or Work Day, my gal pal Mal and her offspring, Daisy Head Macy, met me after school and/or work to commemorate and celebrate our love for this day in May.
And now, because the vision that Gal Pal Mal and I have had for three years has finally come to fruition, we invite you, faithful Ghetto Barbie readers, to feast your eyes on this: the epitome of HOT. MESS.
We take this seriously, people.
The first reader to correctly identify the 9 things that are SO WRONG with this picture, will receive a $9 coffee card to the coffee stand of his/her choosing. And as an added bonus, I'll throw in an extra dollar just for commenting. So, that's $10, people. You're welcome to all of you who hate to do the math.
You should take this seriously, too, because you can't put a price on bike safety. But we did. $10.

ReplyDeleteI believe the auntie of Daisy Head Macy deserves this coffee card because of the distress the mother of this child has put her through after seeing her precious neice on a bike in this situation.
*shuddering*
1. Silly people have THREE people on a TWO person bike. duh. Maybe you should have a safety seat for that cute little baby.
2. Mal thinks she is a princess and therefore is wearing a crown instead of a helmet. dumb.
3. Em needs to learn the learn the “rule of 2” for a properly fitted helmet - 2 fingers above the eyebrow, 2 fingers in a ‘V’ showing the shape of the helmet strap under each ear, and only 2 fingers should fit under the buckled chin strap for proper fit. oh and not backwards would be great.
4. Mal thinks she's too cool for shoes, but close-toed shoes are necessary when biking.
5. I believe DRINKING AND DRIVING is against the law in all types of moving vehicles.
6. Em is about to cause a complete and utter disaster with her untied shoelaces.
7. Baby Macy has followed in her mothers footsteps and has decided that shes to good for a helmet and shoes, what a role-model of a mother...she should spend more time with her auntie.
8. Em has absolutely no hands on the bike, which is going to end badly i'm afraid.
9. And last Mal has decided she doesnt need to look where she is going, even though she is the driver. wow.
I think i may have a few more then 9 in there but i know my bike safety and wanted to make sure nothing was left out :)
